Morneau Shepell announces the redemption of its outstanding 4.75% Convertible Debentures

TORONTO, Dec. 11, 2019 /CNW/ - Morneau Shepell Inc. (the "Company" or "Morneau Shepell") (TSX: MSI) announced today that it has issued a notice of redemption to the holders of its currently outstanding 4.75% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures maturing on June 30, 2021 (the "4.75% Convertible Debentures"). As set out in the notice of redemption, Morneau Shepell intends to redeem all of the 4.75% Convertible Debentures issued and outstanding on January 10, 2020 (the "Redemption Date"). The 4.75% Convertible Debentures are redeemable at a redemption price equal to their principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon up to, but excluding, the Redemption Date. As of the close of business on December 10, 2019, there was $80.7 million principal amount of 4.75% Convertible Debentures issued and outstanding. Holders have the right to convert their 4.75% Convertible Debentures prior to the close of business on January 9, 2020.
