Cargill acknowledged for its innovative employee assistance program

CHICAGO, IL, May 10, 2017 – Morneau Shepell is pleased to congratulate Cargill on winning the 2017 Corporate Award of Excellence from the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA). Cargill, a provider of food, agriculture, financial and industrial products, offers Morneau Shepell’s employee assistance program (EAP) to its employees around the world.

“We are proud that our client is being recognized for supporting its employees’ total health and are grateful for the relationships we have with Cargill,” said Rita Fridella, Executive Vice-President and General Manager, Employee Support Solutions, Morneau Shepell. “The flexibility of our EAP allows clients to provide diverse employee populations with easy-to-access and meaningful support. Cargill was able to establish a program that complements its health and wellness offering to employees and has achieved great success as a result.”

As a company with 150,000 employees in 70 countries, Cargill has a highly diverse organizational population with variations in language, religion, culture, education, and work location. Cargill is dedicated to promoting the accessibility of its EAP services and does so to ensure all employees know they are the company’s most valuable resource.
