Morneau Shepell is proud to have been a leading partner of the Défi Challenge Québec 800

MONTREAL, July 3, 2018 /CNW/ - Morneau Shepell is proud to have partnered with Défi Challenge Québec 800 Morneau Shepell, which was held May 17-20, 2018.

"I was truly impressed by the event's organization, and by the engagement of runners and volunteers alike, all in support of Fondation Jeunes en Tête, which is an amazing cause. Morneau Shepell is honoured to have been a part of this event," said Julien Ponce, president, consulting, and chief commercial officer, Eastern Canada.

The Défi Challenge Québec 800 Morneau Shepell – an 800-kilometre relay race throughout regions of Québec—helped raise funds for this foundation that supports teens contending with mental health issues, in particular through its awareness-building program called Solidaires pour la santé mentale (Partners for Mental Health). In the end, the money raised will directly benefit 3,200 young people from 100 institutions.

Morneau Shepell became involved as a leading partner due to the clear alignment between the race's purpose and the company's position as a leader in metal health and its objectives of promoting health and wellness. For well over 50 years, Morneau Shepell has been dedicated to the well-being of organizations and their employees. Each year, we have the privilege of helping more than half a million people, in whose lives we strive to make a difference. In Quebec, over 900 organizations representing more than 1.4 million employees and family members have chosen to entrust their assistance programs to us.

In Quebec, Morneau Shepell is also very involved with children. Through our Children's Support Solutions and eight clinics in the province, we provide services that effectively help over 3,700 families, 25 schools, 15 daycares, as well as school boards and associations, to identify the children's needs and to help them reach their full potential.

Morneau Shepell is a firm believer in promoting health, adopting healthy lifestyle habits, and maintaining a good work-life balance.
