Media Advisory - Morneau Shepell brings business and industry leaders together to discuss workplace mental health

TORONTO, Feb. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Mental health has a significant impact on every workplace. The impact is seen in absenteeism, productivity, engagement and ultimately, the bottom line. The role of the workplace in mental health is also becoming clearer. On January 16, 2013, The National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety was released. It provided a framework to reduce risks and potential liability related to workplace mental health, and to promote a mentally healthy workplace.

On February 11 and 12, Morneau Shepell will host Employers Connect - a gathering of leaders from Canadian business and industry - in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. The Toronto event is being held at the Trump International Hotel & Tower, 325 Bay Street.
